Fidel Castro dies at 90

Former Cuban leader Fidel Castro has died at age 90, his brother announced.

From Monday, people will be able to pay respects before the ashes of the 90-year-old are taken to Santiago de Cuba where he launched his bid for power.

Kismat Baig,Stage artist shot dead in Lahore
A theatre actress has been shot dead by unidentified gunmen in LAHORE, the capital of Pakistan's Punjab province.

Kismat Baig was returning to her house after performing at a stage play, motorcycle intercepted her and opened fire at her last evening, police said.

She was shot eleven times in her legs, stomach and hands. Baig and her driver were rushed to the Services Hospital where she died because of profuse bleeding, police said............

One of the most famous names associated with Classical Music is that of Dr. Balamuralikrishna. This legendary musician and Padmabhushan awardee is an able composer, singer, poet and instrumentalist who can sing perfectly in three octaves. He was born on 6th October, 1930 in a place called Sankaraguptam located in Andhra Pradesh. He was named Murali Krishnan by his father. The prefix Bala was given by a Hari Katha performer Musunuri Satyanarayana and thereafter he came to be known as Balamuralikrishna.

He is died at his house in Roypeta, chennai on 22 oct 2016.
